The story behind Missing Reflections book one: I am writing to give hope to all who have lost a loved one through sickness, accidents, or old age. We lost our son while in service to our military, and when I think back, I thank God for all the years we spent with him. It should remind all of us just how precious our lives are. God has promised each of us hope, not fear for what comes next, but we should hope in God's promise of everlasting life with Him throughout eternity. God has sealed the promise through Jesus Christ's accomplishments on earth. Our salvation is due to what Jesus achieved on the cross. Through his death, we gain his righteousness and can now come into the presents of almighty God, who is now our father. This can be realized through Christ's victory on the cross, as seen in this scripture. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16
